The First Sunday, January 2, 2011

A decision was made to attend the church of choice - a good beginning to the new year. A welcome phone call was answered but it made me late for church. Since I was late I seemed to appear like an apparition to the gal I was seated beside and she whispered in surprise,"Where did you come from?" I wondered how to answer that and she answered her own question,"I guess the same as the rest of us!"
Sunday was the tail end of the holidays so many parishioners were missing. There was a short sermon described so by the person in charge and a delectable meal followed the "less is more" sermon. It seemed like a good beginning to 2011 as the sermon stated.
