Keeping Your Word

Several things come to mind. One was a certain political figure claiming there would be no way he would enter the prime ministerial residence meant for one chosen as Prime Minister. What did he do when he was chosen Prime Minister? He did.
The second was when a different political party claimed they would reduce the GST if they got back in again! Sounded good! I voted specifically for that. Was it,"a promise made is a promise kept." Nope!
Somewhat jaded now a mugwamp sits on a fence and surveys all with a downcast face. :-(
